What are "Red List" countries?

New quarantine rules from 15 February 2021 apply to those entering the UK from the following countries:

  • Angola

  • Argentina

  • Bolivia

  • Botswana

  • Brazil

  • Burundi

  • Cape Verde

  • Chile

  • Colombia

  • Democratic Republic of the Congo

  • Ecuador

  • Eswatini

  • French Guiana

  • Guyana

  • Lesotho

  • Malawi

  • Mauritius

  • Mozambique

  • Namibia

  • Panama

  • Paraguay

  • Peru

  • Portugal (including Madeira and the Azores)

  • Rwanda

  • Seychelles

  • South Africa

  • Suriname

  • Tanzania

  • United Arab Emirates (UAE)

  • Uruguay

  • Venezuela

  • Zambia

  • Zimbabwe

Anyone arriving in the UK from the above countries in the previous 10 days will be refused entry.

Only travelers with residence rights in the UK, Irish Nationals and British Citizens will be able to enter but must self isolate for 10 days upon arrival. All travelers must have a negative Coronavirus test 3 days before travelling to the UK and continue to test after arrival.
