Visiting the UK
Granted for either 6 months, 2 years or 5 years.
This visa is a temporary visa and does not lead to settlement.
You may not work on this visa or live in the UK for long periods of time through frequent visits.
A Visit Visa to the UK can be issued for 6 months, 2, 5 or 10 years. This is a multiple entry visa to the UK that allows a stay not exceeding 6 months per visit.
You must have a valid visa to enter the UK before arrival.
All applicants must demonstrate that they are genuine visitors and will leave the UK at the end of their visit and not remain beyond their permitted time. Applicants must satisfy the decision maker that they will not live in the UK for extended periods through successive visits and that they do not intend to make the UK their main home.
Evidence of sufficient funds to cover costs during your visit must be provided as public funds are non accessible. Applicants must be able to demonstrate that they can cover the cost of their trip to the UK, as well as their return costs.
Taking employment in the UK is prohibited unless expressly allowed and studies can not last longer than six month.
The decision maker must be satisfied that all requirements for a visitor are met or the application will be refused.
